WHO ARE WE?
We are Goleudy Community Church; 'Goleudy' a Welsh word meaning ‘Lighthouse.’ Our vision was to be a beacon of light, to shine forth the glory of God and to make Jesus known in our community and beyond.
As a church our mandate to "Make Jesus Known" is fulfilled through evangelism, discipleship, and living out Christian values in the community and world. This involves verbally sharing the Gospel through personal testimonies and preaching, and demonstrating Christ's love through acts of service, prayer, and a transformed life that encourages others to believe and follow the Lord Jesus Christ.
To "Make Jesus Known" both locally and internationally, we engage in a variety of missions based on the Great Commission, as recorded in Matthew 28:19-20 and Mark 16:15.
"19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20
